SODIUM CHLORIDE 0.9% IV

Aqueous sodium chloride solution is isotonic to plasma, replenishes sodium deficiency in various pathological conditions (pyloric stenosis, acute intestinal obstruction, cholera, diarrhoea, uncontrollable vomiting, heavily exuding extensive burns, hypochloremia and hyponatremia with dehydration) and increases the volume of fluid circulating in blood vessels; therefore, it is used in complex therapeutic regimen for numerous pathological conditions.
It is also used to dissolve drugs, cleaning wounds, irrigation of nasal mucosa, regional perfusion with fibrinolysin, heparin, antineoplastic and other drugs.

المحلول الملحي هو محلول يتكون من كلوريد الصوديوم في الماء، ولديه عدد من الاستخدامات في مجال الطب، حيث يمكن استخدامه موضعيًا لتنظيف الجروح.
كما يُستخدم المحلول الملحي عن طريق الحقن الوريدي لعلاج الجفاف الناتج عن حالات مثل التهاب المعدة والأمعاء والحماض الكيتوني السكري. كما يستخدم لتخفيف الأدوية الأخرى التي تعطى عن طريق الحقن.
